Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 12 October 2026

These terms apply when you buy services from Just Sensations, including website packages, landing pages, website audits, add-ons, hosting and care plans. Please read them before placing an order. If anything is unclear, email us at info@justsensations.com.

1. About us

Just Sensations is the trading name of Juan Manuel Armas Martín, a sole trader registered in the United Kingdom.

  • Address: 7/9 Elbe Street, Edinburgh, EH6 7BE, United Kingdom
  • Email: info@justsensations.com

2. Who these terms apply to

Our services are designed for businesses and professionals, and most of our clients are businesses. Some are individuals buying for purposes outside their trade or profession; the law calls them consumers. Where a section applies only to consumers or only to business clients, we say so. Nothing in these terms affects the legal rights consumers have under the law of the UK or the country where they live.

3. Our services

The details of each service, such as what's included, the number of pages and revision rounds, and the estimated delivery time, are described on our website or in the quote we send you. If the quote and the website differ, the quote applies.

Anything not included in the package or quote, for example extra pages, features or changes after the agreed revision rounds, is extra work. We'll always tell you the price and get your agreement before doing it.

4. Quotes, orders and the contract

  • Prices shown on our website are a guide. Your price is confirmed in a written quote, usually after a short call.
  • A quote is valid for 30 days unless it says otherwise.
  • The contract starts when you accept the quote in writing (email is fine) and we receive any payment due at the start, or, for services bought online such as audits, when your payment goes through.

5. Prices and payment

  • Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£), euros (€) or US dollars ($) depending on your location. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added to our prices.
  • Website projects: the payment schedule (for example a deposit to start, then payments at agreed stages) is set out in your quote, as it depends on the project.
  • Website audits are paid in full when you order.
  • Monthly services such as care plans are paid in advance each month.
  • We accept the payment methods shown on our website. Some, such as Klarna, are provided by third parties under their own terms.
  • If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's paid. For business clients, we may also charge interest and recovery costs as allowed by UK law.

6. What we need from you

To deliver on time, we need you to:

  • send the content, images, logos and access details we ask for;
  • reply to questions and give feedback promptly, ideally within 2 working days;
  • make sure you have the right to use everything you send us (text, images, logos and so on), and that it's lawful and accurate.

Our delivery times assume we have everything we need from you. Delays in content or feedback move the timeline. If a project is on hold because we're waiting for you for more than 30 days, we may close it and invoice the work done so far, or agree a new start date with you.

7. Revisions and approval

Each package includes a set number of revision rounds, shown in the package details. A revision round is one consolidated list of changes to the agreed design or content. New features or a change of direction are not revisions; we'll quote for them separately.

When the website is ready, we'll ask you to review it. Once you approve it, or use it publicly, it counts as accepted.

8. Hosting, domains and renewals

  • Where a package includes hosting and a domain for the first year, we set them up for you.
  • From the second year, hosting renews for the yearly fee shown on our website at the time of your order, plus the yearly domain renewal. We'll remind you before each renewal.
  • You can cancel the renewal before the renewal date, and we'll help you move your website and domain elsewhere.
  • Hosting depends on third-party providers. We work to keep your site online and backed up, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability.

9. Ownership

  • Once you've paid in full, the website and the content we create for you are yours. You can move them to another provider at any time.
  • Some parts are licensed rather than owned, such as WordPress and other software, plugins, themes, fonts and stock images. They stay under their own licences, which we pass on to you where possible.
  • Until you've paid in full, we keep the rights to our work.
  • We may show the finished project in our portfolio and marketing. Just tell us if you'd rather we didn't.

10. Website audits

  • Audits are delivered by email within the time shown on the order page (currently 3–7 working days) once we have your website address.
  • An audit gives our professional opinion and practical recommendations. Results depend on how and whether the recommendations are applied, so we can't guarantee specific outcomes.

11. Cancelling

Consumers (14-day right to cancel): if you're a consumer and you buy from us online or at a distance, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of the contract starting, without giving a reason. To cancel, email info@justsensations.com.

  • If you ask us to start work within those 14 days and then cancel, you'll pay for the work done up to that point.
  • If we've fully delivered a service within the 14 days at your request (for example, an audit you asked us to start straight away), you can no longer cancel it.
  • We'll refund any money due within 14 days of your cancellation, using the same payment method.

Business clients: you can cancel a project at any time by email. You'll pay for the work done up to the cancellation, and any costs we can't recover, such as domain registrations or licences already bought for your project.

Monthly services: you can cancel at any time with 30 days' notice.

12. Results and our responsibility

  • We build websites to a high standard and follow good practice for speed, accessibility and search engines. But we can't guarantee specific results, such as Google rankings, visitor numbers, leads or sales. These depend on many factors outside our control.
  • We're not responsible for problems caused by third-party services (for example hosting providers, payment platforms or plugins), by changes you or others make to the website, or by content you supply.
  • Business clients: our total liability under any contract is limited to the amount you paid us for that service. We're not liable for indirect losses or for loss of profit, revenue or business.
  • Consumers: we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that's a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.

13. Problems and complaints

If you're not happy with something, please tell us first at info@justsensations.com. We'll reply within 5 working days and do our best to put it right.

14. Privacy

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your project is the one in force when you accepted your quote or placed your order.

16. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the place you live, and you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
