Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

This policy explains how Just Sensations collects and uses personal data when you visit justsensations.com, contact us or use our services, and the rights you have. If anything is unclear, email us at info@justsensations.com.

1. Who we are

Just Sensations designs and builds websites and provides marketing services. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

  • Business: Juan Manuel Armas Martín, sole trader, trading as Just Sensations
  • Address: 7/9 Elbe Street, Edinburgh, EH6 7BE, United Kingdom
  • Email: info@justsensations.com

We are based in Scotland and follow the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, for example to people in Spain, we follow it too.

2. The data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact details: such as your name, email address and phone number.
  • Enquiry and project information: such as your messages, your website address, your answers to our forms, booking details and the content you share for a project.
  • Payment and billing information: such as invoices and payment records. Card payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details.
  • Technical and usage data: such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how you arrived at our site.
  • Marketing preferences: such as whether you've subscribed to our emails, and your cookie choices.

We collect most of this directly from you. Some technical data is collected automatically when you use the site, and if you arrive from one of our adverts, the advertising platform may share information about that click with us.

We don't ask for sensitive data (for example about health or religion), and we ask you not to send it to us.

3. How and why we use it

We don't make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies that the site needs to work: for example to remember your language, currency and cookie choice, protect our forms from spam and keep the site secure. These don't need your consent.

With your consent, we also use analytics cookies (to understand how the site is used) and marketing cookies (to measure the results of our advertising). They only load if you accept them in the cookie banner. These cookies are provided by third parties, currently Google (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager) and Meta (Meta Pixel), who may also use the information in line with their own privacy policies.

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings button at the bottom of every page, or by clearing cookies in your browser.

5. Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal data. We share it only where needed, with:

  • Service providers who work on our behalf, such as website hosting and security providers, email and marketing platforms, booking and chat tools, payment processors, analytics and advertising providers, and professional advisers such as accountants. They may only use your data to provide their services to us.
  • Authorities or other parties where the law requires it, or to protect our rights.
  • A buyer or successor, if our business is ever sold or reorganised. They would have to respect this policy.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers are based outside the UK and the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. When your data is transferred there, we make sure it's protected by appropriate safeguards recognised under UK and EU law, such as adequacy decisions (including the UK–US "data bridge" and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses.

7. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above:

  • Enquiries, bookings and free reviews that don't lead to work: for up to 2 years after our last contact.
  • Client and payment records: for 6 years after the end of the relevant financial year, as UK tax law requires.
  • Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe. We then keep your email address on a suppression list so we don't contact you again.
  • Analytics and technical data: for the period set in the relevant tool, and no longer than needed.

After that, we delete the data or anonymise it.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct it if it's inaccurate or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete it;
  • ask us to restrict how we use it;
  • object to our use of it, including for direct marketing at any time;
  • receive your data in a portable format, or have it sent to another organisation;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting anything we did before.

Some rights have exceptions, for example when we must keep records by law. To use any of them, email info@justsensations.com. We'll reply within one month.

9. Complaints

If you have a concern, please contact us first and we'll do our best to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority:

  • UK: the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), ico.org.uk
  • Spain: the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), aepd.es
  • Elsewhere in the EU: the authority in the country where you live or work

10. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, such as encrypted connections, access controls and regular updates. No system is completely secure, but if a breach ever put your data at risk, we would inform you and the authorities as the law requires.

11. Children

Our services are aimed at businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know where appropriate.

13. Contact us
